Ongoing Shiva Nata classes in a beautiful, supportive space?
Epiphanies, laughter, healthy brain scramble?
Strength, toning and flexibility in your arms, shoulders, and upper back?
Are you thinking YES!?
Come Flail with Us!
I’m assuming that you’ve already heard me rave about Shiva Nata (that it’s a wacky ninja-like brain training technique that makes EVERYTHING better).
If you’re curious, you can read about it here.
We’ll lovingly flail our way into brain scramble and epiphanies.
Expect jokes, laughter, and a healthy mental challenge as we make beautiful patterns together.
What if I’m a total beginner?
Absolutely excellent. In Shiva Nata the point is to do it wrong, so you’re already ahead there.
No one will stare at you, no one will correct you. You won’t be “behind”. If any hard feelings come up for you, then you can use Shiva Nata to understand your pattern.
And my goal in any class is to
model healthy mistake making screw up a lot, so you can always just laugh at me…
Where and When?
One Saturday a month from 10:00-11:30!
The next class is June 23rd, 2012.
After that: July 21st, August 18th, and September 22nd.
At Somaphile Movement Studio in SE Portland.
(That’s: 6514 SE Foster Road, Portland OR 97206)
Women, men and children age six and up! Come by yourself, bring your sweetie, bring your kids. Don’t bring your pet elephant.
Sign Up here to reserve your spot.
Do I have to come every time?
No. You can drop in on a first come, first served basis whenever you’d like.
Class size is very limited, so sign up quickly.
What do I wear?
Remember as a kid in gym class when they’d make you do big arm circles? Just make sure you’re wearing a shirt that lets you do that.
And depending on how you decide to approach things, you may sweat a little.
I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt. Exercise/yoga clothing is also great.
How much does it cost?
$20 for an hour and a half!
(You can also pay in person with check or cash. E-mail me in advance so I know you’re coming.)
